TechnoServe Ghana’s HAPPY Program Team Visits Farmer Globale Projects in the Volta Region

Farmer Globale was delighted to host a technical visit from the TechnoServe Ghana HAPPY Program team to our operational sites in the Volta Region. The visit formed part of ongoing efforts to strengthen collaboration, knowledge exchange, and innovation in youth-focused agribusiness initiatives.
The primary objective of the visit was to familiarize the TechnoServe team with Farmer Globale’s agritech innovations and to gain deeper insight into our implementation of the Youth Elevate Project, a flagship initiative by Farmer Globale.
During the field engagements, the delegation interacted with several young agripreneurs benefiting from the project — individuals who are applying new technologies and sustainable practices in crop, livestock, and fisheries production. The team also observed how digital tools and data-driven approaches are being used to enhance farm management, improve productivity, and strengthen market linkages.

Speaking during the visit, Mr. Fred Kukubor, Managing Partner of Farmer Globale, emphasized the organization’s commitment to using innovation as a catalyst for inclusive agricultural transformation.
“Our goal is to make technology and knowledge accessible to young farmers, enabling them to see agriculture as a viable business and a driver of opportunity,” he noted.
The TechnoServe team commended Farmer Globale for its practical, impact-driven model that combines technical training, agritech adoption, and youth empowerment. They also highlighted the potential for deeper collaboration between the HAPPY Program and Farmer Globale to scale proven innovations and support more young agripreneurs across Ghana.

The visit reaffirmed a shared vision between both organizations — to build resilient, market-oriented agricultural systems that create dignified jobs and sustainable livelihoods for youth.
At Farmer Globale, we remain committed to driving innovation, strengthening partnerships, and empowering the next generation of agripreneurs to transform Ghana’s agricultural future.
