LEVERAGING YOUTH POTENTIAL FOR SUSTAINABLE AGRIBUSINESS GROWTH
The Farmer Globale Youth Elevate Project (YEP) is our flagship youth empowerment initiative, designed to unlock dignified employment, entrepreneurship, and leadership opportunities for young people across agricultural and agribusiness value chains.
Led by Farmer Globale, YEP responds to a critical challenge: the growing disconnect between youth aspirations and viable opportunities within Africa’s evolving food systems. Through YEP, we are intentionally reshaping agriculture into a modern, opportunity-driven sector where young people can build sustainable careers and enterprises.
YEP is implemented through strategic partnerships with ecosystem actors including Kosmos Innovation Centre (KIC), TechnoServe, Ministry of Food and Agriculture (MoFA, Ghana), and other private and development partners. These collaborations strengthen delivery while Farmer Globale provides overall programme leadership, market integration, and operational coordination.
The Youth Elevate Project (YEP) is Farmer Globale’s flagship youth empowerment initiative, designed to unlock meaningful economic opportunities for young people across agricultural and agribusiness value chains.

Impact Focus
Building a pipeline of youth equipped for productive employment and enterprise creation within modern, market-driven agricultural systems.
Key Partners
The project equips young people with practical skills, entrepreneurial capacity, and real market exposure, linking training directly to production systems, agribusiness enterprises, and value-chain opportunities. Participants are supported through structured learning pathways, mentorship, enterprise development, and access to networks that enable them to transition from training into productive engagement.
Beyond skills, YEP prioritises market relevance and inclusion. Youth are integrated into live agribusiness operations, cooperative systems, and commercial projects led by Farmer Globale and its partners. This ensures that participation translates into measurable outcomes—jobs created, enterprises launched, and incomes improved.
The Youth Elevate Project reflects Farmer Globale’s broader commitment to building future-ready food systems—systems where youth are not beneficiaries on the margins, but active contributors, innovators, and leaders shaping the next generation of agriculture.
Youth Elevate Project (YEP) is more than an intervention. It is Farmer Globale’s long-term investment in people, productivity, and inclusive growth.
