The Farmer Globale Livestock & Aquaculture Programme strengthens livestock and fisheries value chains as scalable drivers of food security, nutrition, and inclusive economic growth. The programme responds to growing demand for safe and affordable animal protein by improving productivity, enterprise viability, and market integration across poultry, small ruminants, and aquaculture systems.
Led by Farmer Globale, the programme combines improved production practices, biosecurity, and sustainable aquaculture models with a strong market-led and investment-ready approach. Producers are supported to transition from informal or subsistence operations into commercially viable enterprises through access to quality inputs, technical services, structured aggregation, and reliable market linkages.
A core focus is food safety, quality assurance, and regulatory compliance, enabling producers to meet national and regional standards while positioning them for higher-value markets. The programme also integrates youth and women as producers, service providers, and agripreneurs, contributing to job creation and diversified livelihoods.
