Job Summary:
The Programme Officer will support the planning, execution, and monitoring of projects under Farmer Globale’s partnership projects. The role will involve coordinating project activities, engaging with stakeholders, and ensuring the successful delivery of program objectives, particularly related to youth and farming as a business.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in the design and implementation of projects in line with the objectives of the partnership.
- Coordinate field activities and ensure they align with project goals and timelines.
- Engage and collaborate with community stakeholders, including farmers, local organizations, and government agencies.
- Prepare detailed progress reports and documentation for internal and external stakeholders.
- Ensure compliance with donor requirements and organizational policies.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Development Studies, Agriculture, Business Administration, or related fields.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in program management or coordination, preferably in the agricultural sector.
- Strong project management and organizational skills.
- Ability to work with diverse stakeholders, including rural communities and development partners.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience with donor-funded projects.
- Strong report writing and data management skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and project management software.
