Job Summary:
The Communication & Knowledge Management Specialist will be responsible for managing and disseminating knowledge products, ensuring effective communication of project results, and enhancing Farmer Globale’s visibility. This role will lead efforts in content development, media engagement, and knowledge-sharing activities for the partnership.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement communication strategies to showcase project achievements and impact.
  • Manage Farmer Globale’s knowledge management system, ensuring the documentation and sharing of best practices.
  • Create content for reports, newsletters, social media, and websites to raise awareness of program activities.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to produce knowledge products, such as case studies, briefs, and videos.
  • Engage with media and stakeholders to promote Farmer Globale’s work and partnerships.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Journalism, Knowledge Management, or related fields.
  • Minimum of 4 years of experience in communications or knowledge management roles, ideally within the development sector.
  • Strong writing, editing, and content creation skills.
  • Familiarity with communication tools and platforms, including social media, websites, and newsletters.

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience in knowledge management systems or platforms.
  • Expertise in graphic design or video production tools.
  • Strong networking and relationship-building skills with media outlets.
